Webinar: Medical and Health Mediation
15th December 2017
12:00 UK time
Over the last eighteen years we have worked closely with many of the UK’s Health Authorities and NHS Trusts. We understand the challenges faced by Authorities and Trusts, and know how best to put some of our ideas about mediation and conflict resolution into action in this particular setting.
Aimed at those working in the NHS, health authorities and similar organisations, this insightful webinar will draw on real-life cases and best practice to demonstrate how mediation can resolve conflicts involving patients, carers, families and health professionals.
Our CEO & Founder, Dr Mike Talbot, will be leading the webinar, drawing on his extensive experience of providing mediation services and training to the NHS and other healthcare organisations. Mike has a deep and detailed understanding of the challenges facing the healthcare sector and how mediation can be used to resolve conflicts. Past clients have included Great Ormond Street Hospital, Southend University Hospital, Buckinghamshire Healthcare, and Plymouth NHS Trust.
Mike’s written a blog about the subject, which makes ideal reading ahead of the webinar.

Who are UK Mediation?
Founded in 1999 by Dr Mike Talbot, UK Mediation have come to be recognised as the pioneering thought leader in mediation and mediation training.
Based in the United Kingdom and operating all over the world, UK Mediation uses only the most experienced mediators and adult educators: resolving disputes for people or training them how to do it for themselves.
We are mediation specialists. We understand how and why mediation works, we are experts in training and qualifying mediators, and we are passionate about what we do.
We know that a lot of mediators are throwing accreditations round like they are going out of fashion, so we will make it simple. We have all of the accreditations you would expect as well as Ofqual and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Not to mention we are the only mediation company to carry the Investors in People and ISO9001 awards.
"I can't believe how much valuable insight and information I picked up from this webinar! Clear, concise and informative."
