Webinar: Mediating Salary Disputes
18th May 2018
12:00 UK time
We all like to feel that we are valued in our jobs and that our salary accurately reflects our abilities, dedication and value to the organisation. Therefore, perceived unfairness in someone’s remuneration can lead to feelings of resentment and can negatively affect performance and morale.
Workplace mediation can be an excellent way to resolve disputes that arise around issues relating to pay. Specific issues may include:
- Someone feels aggrieved when they find out they’re paid considerably less than a colleague doing a similar job
- An individual doesn’t believe they’re being paid what they’re worth
- Someone believes they’re being discriminated because of their gender or ethnicity
Join Dr Mike Talbot as he considers these scenarios and mediation’s role in resolving them.

Who are UK Mediation?
Founded in 1999 by Dr Mike Talbot, UK Mediation have come to be recognised as the pioneering thought leader in mediation and mediation training.
Based in the United Kingdom and operating all over the world, UK Mediation uses only the most experienced mediators and adult educators: resolving disputes for people or training them how to do it for themselves.
We are mediation specialists. We understand how and why mediation works, we are experts in training and qualifying mediators, and we are passionate about what we do.
We know that a lot of mediators are throwing accreditations round like they are going out of fashion, so we will make it simple. We have all of the accreditations you would expect as well as Ofqual and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Not to mention we are the only mediation company to carry the Investors in People and ISO9001 awards.
"I can't believe how much valuable insight and information I picked up from this webinar! Clear, concise and informative."
