Mediation Refresher Day
The Mediation Refresher Day has been designed to help you get back on track.
We want to offer you a reminder about what you have learned on your training, to give you a chance to practise on a simulated case and to share experiences of any cases that you have been lucky enough to complete.
We encourage people to contribute to the agenda, by inviting you to say what you would like to see during the day. In addition to the topics chosen by you, we make sure to include a slot for the revision of the step-by-step mediation model, a chance for everyone to get some practice on a simulated case and to get some individual feedback from our trainers.
A very valuable part of the day is to hear of your experiences of cases that you have worked on since training. This gives us a chance to do some live case supervision: an extremely valuable form of ongoing learning for mediators.

About the venue
Since opening their doors in 2010, following a multi-million-pound redevelopment, Nottingham Conference Centre has become firmly established as one of the East Midland’s premier events venues, that is the reason why we have chosen this venue to hold our accredited mediation training courses.
Delegates will enjoy a spacious and modern training facility, fully equipped with the latest AV technology and full catering facilities. The Centre was opened as part of the re-development of two of Nottingham Trent University’s iconic Grade II* listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright. The venue features large tiered lecture theatres, flat floor open plan function rooms and modern, naturally-lit meeting rooms. All rooms offer the very latest, fully integrated audio-visual technology and free Wi-Fi access throughout.
Situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre, Nottingham Conference Centre is conveniently located within the Nottingham tram service area which allows easy travel to the venue. With Nottingham’s main amenities and attractions on the doorstep, hotels, restaurants and entertainment facilities are all within easy walking distance for your guests and delegates.
