This course is active and experiential, and uses case studies, role-plays, exercises, and material brought along by course delegates. Trainer input, demonstration, and DVD material are interspersed with discussions of real mediation cases. This course is specifically designed for qualified mediators with some case experience. You can, if you wish, bring one or two mediation cases to discuss in an anonymised manner. The day will revolve around feedback, reflective practice, and relating theory to practical skills. Evaluative case settlement techniques are NOT part of this course. However, law-oriented evaluative commercial practitioners are welcome to attend and will learn more about repairing relationships and working on the interpersonal dimension of conflict.
