Assess the provision required and decide what package will offer the best return on investment

You will be assigned a dedicated member of the client services team, who will guide you through the whole process of setting up a mediation service

Develop policies and procedures

We will work with you to help develop policies that incorporate mediation and demonstrate good practice.  We will provide examples and templates of essential paperwork to set up your scheme

Recruit learners for training

Once the number of people to train has been assessed we can provide different approaches to evaluate who will benefit from the training the most.  We can assist with a recruitment day; involving assessment can take place to ensure those trained will be best placed to do mediation

Support you to initiate a mediation culture

We will ensure your team has the relevant information to promote the use of mediation appropriately.  This can include further awareness training for staff, and advice on what information to disseminate amongst the workforce

Deliver Training

We will run the training package at your venue, offering an ongoing level of support from the mediation team before, during and after the course itself.  There will be a course evaluation, and then a follow up by the client services manager to assess the impact of the training in the long term

Gain professional recognition and ongoing development

We will work with you to be able to join the professional body UK Register of Mediators and can provide ongoing CPD events and supervision to your mediators

Evaluate and assess mediation scheme

We will work with you to evaluate the success of the scheme, and identify the ROI

We will arrange to meet with you after an agreed time (usually three months) to review the impact of the training and identify any further ongoing needs.   Ongoing contact and support will be available from UK Mediation, with a review after one year to assess the implementation of the scheme and how you may continue to achieve successful future benefits from your mediation scheme
