Mediation Refresher Day
Refresher Days provide a valuable chance to brush up on your existing skills, allowing you to network with other qualified mediators and like minded individuals. Delegates are encouraged to suggest items for the agenda, and are given the opportunity to revisit key mediation skills, especially reframing and the mediation model.
Topics covered on previous Refresher Days have included:
- Recent changes to legislation
- Working with a co-mediator
- Record-keeping and confidentiality
- Dealing with resistance to mediation
The Refresher Days are run at public venues from time to time throughout the year, but if you have at least six people who can attend, this can be organised as an in-house training or staff development event.
