Professional Practice in Mediation

Obtaining the PPM is the next developmental step for people that have completed an accredited mediation training course and want to prove that they are a competent mediator. PPM is your way of providing evidence that you have put your training into successful practice, through the completion of five mediation cases.

This is a self-directed course where we conduct a face-to-face assessment of your practical work and you complete a learning log of how you dealt with your first five cases.

• Try existing contacts you may have from previous industry sectors you have worked in
• Approach complaints departments within public sector organisations
• Market your own services as a freelance mediator
