Accredited Training in Mediating Family Relationships

This course was created due to overwhelming demand and delegate feedback. This four day programme has evolved from the Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate and concentrates on using mediation to overcome conflicts which threaten to damage relationships within families.

On this tailored course you will learn:

• How and why family disputes occur

• Where mediation can and can not be used to resolve conflicting issues

• How to encourage family members to participate in mediation

• How to instil confidentiality and impartiality

This course is especially beneficial for those working closely with families and vulnerable members of society. As a properly trained and impartial third party in the role of mediator, you can support the family using mediation in a safe and effective way, which will try to stem conflict and help to prevent a young person from becoming homeless.
